How to Prepare for Civil Services Exams?



UPSC is the mother of all exams in India. So when it comes to its preparation, one has to be totally focused and inclined towards it.  It consists of 3 stages: prelims, mains and Interview and level of difficulty increases with each stage.
Students tend to make a lot of mistakes in their journey. So few tips are there as to how overall you can clear this exam in an effective manner. At least 2-4 years is required for clearing this exam and you require ruthless determination in this exam. Minimum 3 attempts you shall give before you hang your boots.

4. Read the newspaper on a daily basis and watch headlines on TV. Refer to specific topics . Give your opinion and discuss the news daily.

5. Chose optional very wisely. As it will be one of the crucial factors in deciding your rank.

6. Give the number of mock tests to enhance your accuracy and practice a lot of answer writing and essay writing and get it checked by an expert.

7. Reach out to fellow aspirants, discuss topics and last year's questions with them.
